Bashas’ in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a dedicated Baker to perform a wide range of bakery tasks, focusing on food safety, sanitation, and outstanding customer service while assisting in production and merchandising.

In a fast-paced environment you will load and unload ovens, weigh and prepare doughs and finished goods, rotate stock, and help decorators with cake icing and personalization, while maintaining clean workspaces and following Bashas’ standards.

Qualifications

• Must maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong customer service orientation is essential.
• Attention to detail is required for weighing and labeling products.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, weighing, proofing, baking, decorating, finishing and merchandising bakery products.
• Loading and unloading the oven with correct temperatures and timings.
• Scaling cakes and cupcakes and icing various pastries.
• Assisting in ordering and receiving bakery supplies.
• Controlling inventory and shelf pricing accuracy.
• Keeping workspaces and storage areas clean and organized.
• Wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing, finishing, and stocking bakery items.
• Assisting decorators with cake icing and customization.
• All other related duties as assigned.
