Job summary
Total Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Tester to support testing, verification, validation, and QA for artillery fire control and related software systems at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
The role emphasizes functional, integration, system, and regression testing of IFATDS/AFATDS functionality under government-use conditions. Ideal candidates have artillery domain knowledge, experience in software testing, and the ability to document defects clearly for developers and government
Qualifications
- U.S. Army or DoD artillery experience is highly desired.
- Experience conducting software testing, system testing, or verification/validation.
- Ability to translate operational and system requirements into executable test cases.
- Experience documenting software defects and communicating technical findings.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute test procedures, cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria based on requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and software quality testing.
- Support testing of IFATDS and AFATDS functionality and related workflows.
- Evaluate software performance against requirements and operational behavior.
- Identify and reproduce defects and document steps to reproduce.
