Job summary

Synechron is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of enterprise-scale GenAI solutions in a high-visibility project. The role focuses on document summarization and conversational AI for financial services clients in Irving, TX.

The base salary in Irving, TX ranges from $115k to $125k per year, with comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate has MCP, AIML experience, LLM knowledge, and strong microservices and API skills.

Qualifications

• MCP required (skills-based orchestration).
• Expertise in AIML implementation.
• Experience with LLM models: Llama, Mixtral, Mistral.
• Experience with inference mechanisms: transformer/pipeline, vLLM.
• Experience with LangGraph and agentic frameworks.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to work on a high-visibility Generative AI initiative focused on enterprise-scale document summarization and conversational AI.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Irving, TX is $115 - $125k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex data and AI applications, often leveraging emerging and cutting-edge technologies
• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale GenAI solutions, including summarization engines and chatbot applications
• Apply sound judgment in selecting methods, tools, and evaluation criteria within broadly defined practices and policies
• Provide technical leadership by owning deliverables, assigning work, and resolving complex technical issues
• Translate business strategy and requirements into actionable technical solutions
• Ensure solutions comply with model governance and risk management standards
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT partners, and external vendors

Requirements:

• MCP is a must (skills-based orchestration)
• Expertise in AIML implementation
• Experience with LLM Models (Llama, Mixtral, Mistral)
• Experience with Various inferencing mechanisms – transformer/pipeline, vllm
• Experience with Agentic framework: langgraph
• Experience with Evaluation frameworks: RAGAS, phoenix-arize
• Experience with Embedding (all-MiniLM-L6-v2, all-mpnet-base-v2)
• Experience with LLM development framework : Langchain, LlamaIndex
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, integration patterns

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.).
• Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working.
• Passion to learn new technology.
• Relevant industry (banking middle/back office/Finance) experience.
