Ultra Consultants is seeking an AI Readiness Consultant with 3–5 years of experience and a solid understanding of ERP, supply chain, and business process transformation in manufacturing. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping manufacturing and distribution companies harness the potential of artificial intelligence. Ultra works exclusively with manufacturing and distribution companies to help them drive improvement in business processes, technology capabilities, and organizational alignment. Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct AI readiness assessments, evaluating client data, processes, systems, and organizational capabilities.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases across operations, supply chain, quality, maintenance, and customer service.
• Develop tailored AI readiness roadmaps aligned to business goals and organizational maturity.
• Recommend strategies for data governance, system integration, and workforce enablement to support AI adoption.
• Guide clients through change management related to AI/ML initiatives and digital innovation to drive understanding, alignment, and adoption.
• Partner with technical teams to bridge the gap between business needs and AI solutions.
• Stay current on AI trends, tools, and regulatory considerations relevant to manufacturing.
• Provide workshops and executive briefings to build awareness and understanding of AI potential within client organizations.
• Utilize best practices and process mapping to support future state process and technology recommendations.
• Assist in technology selection projects with a focus on AI-enabling platforms, including ERP, MES, and data analytics tools.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership content.
• Work side-by-side with Ultra executives in managing client engagements and fostering trusted client relationships.
• Develop business cases and ROI models to justify AI investment and implementation roadmaps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience with ERP, AI/ML concepts, data analytics, and supply chain technologies.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector with knowledge of operational and digital best practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise technology platforms, including ERP, MES, data lakes, and cloud analytics.
• Experience planning and facilitating client workshops, training sessions, and strategic discussions.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Visio, Project, and SharePoint.
• Willingness for frequent travel to domestic client locations when deemed safe by the CDC.
• Commitment to professional engagement, including availability outside traditional working hours as needed.
• Comfortable working in a range of environments, from executive offices to manufacturing shop floors.
• Frequent visits to industrial sites may include exposure to machinery, noise, and other typical manufacturing conditions.
• Must maintain a professional home office suitable for remote client interaction.
• Routine travel by air, car, and other forms of transportation will be required.
• Regular use of digital collaboration tools such as Zoom, Teams, and other conferencing platforms.
