Job summary

YMCA in Doylestown is seeking an Arthritis Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor to lead deep water classes on a part-time, hourly basis. Certification in Arthritis Aquatics Group Exercise and First Aid/CPR/AED are required or trainings provided. The role emphasizes connecting with members and adapting to all abilities in a welcoming, supportive environment.

You will enjoy flexible scheduling, a variety of class options, and a collaborative team that values member health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with 2+ years Aquatics Fitness or Fitness Instructor experience preferred.
• Arthritis Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor Certification required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen or ability to pass trainings.
• Ability to adapt class/style for members in front of you.

Responsibilities

• Conducting primarily deep water workouts.
• Finding new and engaging ways to connect with members during class.
• Instructing an effective, safe class for all abilities.
• Willing and able to substitute for fellow instructors.

What is needed for this job:

• Age 18+ and have 2+ years Aquatics Fitness or Fitness Instructor experience preferred
