Job summary

The YMCA in Warminster, PA is seeking an Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor for a part-time, hourly role with flexible scheduling. You will lead deep water workouts and engage members to support healthier lives through group classes.

Requirements include 2+ years in aquatics fitness, an Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor Certification, and ability to adapt classes; availability to substitute for other instructors; perks include a free YMCA membership and babysitting access where available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have 2+ years aquatics fitness or fitness instructor experience.
• Must hold an Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor Certification.
• Must be able to pass First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen trainings or have access to provided trainings.
• Ability to adapt your class/style for the members in front of you.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep water workouts.
• Find new and engaging ways to connect with our members during class.
• Instruct an effective, safe class for all abilities.
• Willing and able to substitute for fellow instructors.

What is needed for this job:

• Age 18+ and have 2+ years Aquatics Fitness or Fitness Instructor experience preferred
• Have an Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor Certification
• Can perform First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen or ability to pass provided trainings
• The ability to adapt your class/style for the members in front of you
