Job summary

YMCA Nazareth is seeking an Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor for a part-time, hourly position in Nazareth, PA. The ideal candidate loves engaging members through group classes and understands that connecting with participants can inspire healthier living.

Requirements include 2+ years of Aquatics Fitness or Fitness Instructor experience and an Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor Certification. First Aid/CPR/AED training or ability to pass training is expected, with the ability to adapt classes

• Age 18+ and have 2+ years Aquatics Fitness or Fitness Instructor experience preferred.
• Have an Aquatics Group Exercise Instructor Certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen or ability to pass provided trainings
• Ability to adapt your class/style for the members in front of you

Responsibilities

• Conducting primarily deep water workouts
• Finding new and engaging ways to connect with our members during class
• Instructing an effective, safe class for all abilities at the YMCA
• Willing and able to serve as a substitute for fellow instructors

What is needed for this job:
