Job summary

21c Museum Hotels in Louisville seeks an experienced Event Sales Manager to drive catering revenue and maximize event bookings across local and national markets. You will lead the full sales process from prospecting through post-event follow-up, emphasizing relationship-building and strategic pricing.

Responsibilities include site tours, trade show representation, contract creation, and coordination with the Director of Sales.

Qualifications

• Six years event sales and management experience; minimum four years in hotel event sales or related discipline.
• High school or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds client base through outside sales calls, prospecting, direct mail, networking and referrals.
• Conducts site tours and represents the hotel at trade shows and events.
• Prepares reports (pace, inquiries, site visits, action plans).
• Responsible for the full sales process from inquiries to payment and follow-up.
