Job summary

21c Museum Hotels is seeking an Event Server to provide exemplary service during events within the hotel and restaurant. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, clear tables, and assist with setup and teardown according to BEO and event captain directions.

Successful candidates will be able to communicate clearly in English, perform basic math for guest transactions, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and be able to speak, read and understand English.
• Basic math skills required for handling tabs and payments.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Hands on execution of event while working with other B&C teammates.
• Interacts with Event Captains and Event Manager throughout function to ensure excellent event service.
• Fulfills setup and teardown of events per BEO, Req sheet, and Event Captain.
• Executes excellent customer service to all hotel/restaurant guests.
• Takes orders from guests, serves food and drinks, and clears tables as necessary.
• Follows the steps of service for each specific type of event.
