Job summary

East Bay Art Therapy in Oakland/ Pleasant Hill seeks an Art Therapist to provide individual and group art therapy for ages 4 and up across multiple East Bay sites. The role includes off-site groups, some home-based sessions, and collaboration with a clinical supervisor.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and culturally sensitive interventions. In-person delivery with optional telehealth, HIPAA compliance, and ongoing charting are required.

Qualifications

• Have ATR-P/ATR/ATR-BC and a Masters in Art Therapy.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical art therapy experience.
• Comfortable with private practice settings and community sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group art therapy for ages 4+ in-person.
• Offer parent consultation for minor clients when needed.
• Facilitate groups at off-site East Bay sites and some home-based sessions.
• Develop art therapy group curricula and treatment plans with supervisor input.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidential client records.
• Maintain timely session notes and client communications.
