Job summary

EDCare in Denver is seeking a compassionate Art Therapist to join our clinical team on a part-time or contract basis. The role involves facilitating three structured art therapy groups weekly across Residential, Adult PHP, and Adolescent PHP programs, supporting emotional processing and recovery.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Art Therapy, is pursuing Colorado licensure, and has experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy is required.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire required.
• Colorado licensure in progress or active pursuit required.
• Pursuing art therapy registration and board certification with The American Art Therapy Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and facilitate three structured art therapy groups weekly across Denver programs.
• Utilize art-based interventions to promote emotional expression and coping skills.
• Adapt approaches for adolescents and adults with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Maintain therapeutic rapport, boundaries, and group structure.
• Document group notes and clinical records in a timely manner.
