Job summary

Seasons Within LLC in Oak Park, IL seeks a Pediatric Art Therapist to support children ages 3-12 and families through art-based therapy, including parenting support and psychoeducation for caregivers. You will work in person at our Oak Park office with a collaborative, reflective practice and opportunities for supervision and growth.

Required: MAATC or equivalent, IL LPC/LCPC license, 2+ years of child mental health experience, commitment to trauma-informed, anti-racist practice, and in-person

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy (MAATC) or similar field.
• Full and unrestricted Illinois counseling license (LPC or LCPC).
• At least two years of experience working with children in a mental health or related setting.
• Experience providing parenting support and collaborating with families.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, socially just, and anti-racist practice.
• Ability to work in person in Oak Park, IL.

Responsibilities

• Provide art therapy for children ages 3-12 and family sessions.
• Integrate theory and evidence-based approaches into clinical work.
• Assess clients for outpatient treatment fit and develop initial treatment plans.
• Maintain a consistent caseload and complete documentation.
• Participate in supervision, consultation, and team collaboration.
• Engage in ongoing learning and reflective practice.
