Job summary

Skyway Behavioral Health seeks an Art Therapist to develop and implement expressive arts therapy within specialized treatment areas. You will plan and deliver art-therapy programming and engage patients with trauma and co-occurring disorders, emphasizing compassionate care and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include leading groups, individual sessions, and DBT coaching, while maintaining thorough documentation and collaborating with the care team to support recovery and skill

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred (MA Counseling- Art Therapy).
• 2+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
• Proficiency in treatment, diagnosis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create art therapy curriculum and groups.
• Leads DBT group and DBT phone coaching within program structure.
• Conduct 1:1 sessions as needed with patients.
• Document progress notes and group notes per policy.
• Maintain rapport and collaborates with physicians and team.
