100 LCMC Health is seeking an Art Therapist to develop and deliver therapeutic art programs to patients, enhancing their treatment through creative processes. This position requires a Master's Degree in Art Therapy and at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
The candidate will assess patients’ psychosocial needs and implement coping strategies through art therapy. Certifications in Basic Life Support and provisional ATR are required, with additional preferences for non-violent crisis prevention training.
The Art Therapist develops and delivers creative art therapy to assigned individuals, groups or families. Provides comprehensive art therapy assessment and treatment through active art making, creative processes, applied psychological theory, etc. to assist admitted patients in meeting treatment goals. Responsible for assessing the patient to determine psychosocial, developmental needs and facilitating expressive therapy‑based education and adaptive coping strategies for patients.
2 years of experience in clinical‑pediatric healthcare or behavioral health.
Master's Degree in Art Therapy.
