Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center - Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Art Therapist who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual/group/family therapies, and discharge planning within an interdisciplinary team; Maryland LGSW/LMSW/LGPC licensure or equivalent is required, with Master’s in Art Therapy strongly preferred and 1 year experience

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Social Work /Counseling or equivalent health field.
• Maryland LGSW/LMSW/LGPC licensure or equivalent.
• Master's in Art Therapy strongly preferred.
• Licensure as LGPAT or LCPAT strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Initiates and implements psychosocial assessments.
• Provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and families.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment to plan effective interventions.
• Documents services and reports to referral sources and agencies.
• Coordinates aftercare and discharge planning with team and resources.
• Manages crises to ensure safety for clients and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
