  • Two to three years of relevant work experience with the specified patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates patient focus and strives to exceed patient/family expectations for customer service.
  • Provides professional art psychotherapy treatment/services to individuals and groups.
  • Utilizes observation skills at the clinical professional level to assess patient’s level of functioning both individually and in group activities.
  • Interviews patients and assesses their functional level according to professional standards.
  • Collaborates with treatment team to develop a safe and therapeutic plan of care.
  • Identifies and delivers services according to patient specific needs, diagnosis and population.
  • Completes documentation of initial patient screen/assessment and ongoing treatment/progress in compliance with hospital and program standards.
  • Reports pertinent observations to appropriate team members.
