Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Art Supervisor to oversee concepting, design, and production of integrated campaigns across client projects. You will mentor junior designers, partner with copywriters, and ensure outputs meet strategic and creative standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong presentation skills, and expertise in pharmaceutical advertising, with hybrid/remote work options and a focus on delivering high-impact ideas for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of creative experience with at least 4 years in supervision.
• Pharmaceutical advertising experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently conceptualize, develop and design content based on strategic direction.
• Lead senior art staff and copywriters on client, in-house and new business projects.
• Prepare detailed layouts and storyboards for review.
• Ensure timely turnarounds and high-quality output.
• Collaborate with in-house and external teams to complete projects on deadlines.
• Acquire knowledge of assigned product/category and maintain momentum.
• Mentor entry-level designers and allocate resources as needed.
• Present concepts in client meetings and contribute to new business.
• Maintain professional conduct and strong collaboration across departments.
