Qualifications

• These openings in Sculpture are Work Study ONLY.
• Fabrication/ shop environment with exposure to Wood Shop and Metal Shop equipment.
• Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
• Noise level is moderate to high.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a SAFE and CLEAN workshop in the sculpture studios, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping daily, and securing the tool room at shift end.
• Supervise students during Open Studio Hours and ensure safe, effective use of tools and accountability for cleanup.
• Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance of certain equipment.
• Supervise student cleanup of work areas during Open Studio Hours.
• Fulfill special projects (e.g., building shelves, storage boxes, signage, end-of-quarter maintenance).
• Handle emergency situations as they arise.
