Job summary

Crozier Fine Arts seeks an Art Service Shuttle Driver to join our New York Metro Warehouse Team in Newark, NJ. You will safely operate a 26ft box truck and coordinate routes with Operations and Account Management.

Responsibilities include handling, packing, crating artworks, loading/unloading with teams, and maintaining detailed inspection reports. CDL not required but preferred; growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience within relocation logistics or package handling logistics.
• Experience within the fine arts transportation or specialized removals industry is desired.
• Knowledge and understanding of item/object package handling.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26ft. Company Box Truck, performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Account Manager to determine strategy and daily route, serving as liaison with clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards by handling, wrapping, packing, crating, and installing/de-installing artworks using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Work with warehouse/transportation teams during loading and unloading of art and objects.
• Organize cargo holds and complete detailed condition inspection reports for handled items.
• Other duties assigned by management as needed daily.

Crozier Fine Arts is seeking a motivated Art Service Shuttle Driver to join our New York Metro Warehouse Team.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Safely operate a 26ft. Company Box Truck, performing thorough pre- and post-trip truck inspections, maintaining strict compliance with company and state issued regulations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Account Manager to determine strategy and daily route, while serving as a primary liaison with company clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards by expertly handling, wrapping, packing, crating, and installing/de-installing artworks using appropriate techniques, materials, and tools.
• Work with warehouse/transportation team members and art handlers teams during loading and unloading of art and objects.
• Organize cargo holds or optimal transit safety and complete detailed condition inspections reports for handled items.
• Other responsibilities assigned by management as needed daily.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• 2-3 years of experience within relocation logistics or package handling logistics required.
• Experience within the fine arts transportation or specialized removals industry is desired.
• Knowledge and understanding of item/object package handling.
• Proven ability in leading a team, effectively conveying instructions, and communicating clearly with both clients and coworkers.
• Experience in the operation of Gantry,Rigging equipment and Forklift preferred, but not required.
• Minimum: high school diploma and 21 years of age.
• The physical ability to lift and move heavy objects in excess of 75 lbs., bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate 26-ft box truck, at minimum Valid driver’s license with clean/clear driving record with ability to pass all driving check (**CDL license not required but preferred)

What We Offer (Benefits)

• Pay: Starting at $25.00/hr (**Negotiations Depending on Experience), Bi-Weekly Direct Deposit Shift: Monday through Friday, 8-4:30 (OT May be Required.)

Reasonably expected salary range: $51,000.00 - $63,700.00 Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
