Caleres, Inc. is seeking an Art Director in the St. Louis area to shape branding and creative for email, web, print, and retail campaigns.

You will partner with the Creative Manager and Senior Designer on photography direction, project planning, and concept development. The ideal candidate will have a BA in Commercial Art, 2–5 years at an advertising agency, and strong Mac/Adobe Creative Cloud skills. This on-site role offers access to our campus amenities in Clayton, MO and a dynamic team

Qualifications

• BA in Commercial Art or related art degree.
• 2–5 years experience in an advertising agency preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate strategic creative ideas to managers and partners.
• Proficient in Mac and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing materials for email, web, print, retail, events, and internal communications.
• Create graphics, photography concepts, and GIF animations to support digital marketing.
• Collaborate with Creative Manager and Senior Designer to plan projects.
• Lead on photo shoots, styling, wardrobe selection, and art direction.
• Research brand trends and competitive landscape.
