Job summary

Allen Edmonds in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead creative direction for our premium footwear brand. You will design marketing materials across email, web, print, and retail, and guide photo shoots with the creative team.

Collaborate with the Creative Manager and Senior Designer to plan projects, ensure brand consistency, and stay current with fashion typography. Proficiency in Mac, Adobe CC, and photography direction is required.

Qualifications

• BA in Commercial Art or related Art Degree.
• 2-5 years experience at an Advertising Agency preferred.
• Must clearly communicate strategic intent to creative manager and team.
• Strong understanding of typography and composition.
• Product photography experience a plus.
• REQUIRED: Mac platform, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Microsoft Office, Figma, Web/interactive experience a plus.

Qualifications that make you the perfect fit!

• BA in Commercial Art or any other related Art Degree

• Ability to problem solve by identifying issues and finding alternative solutions.
• Strong understanding of typography and composition. (Product photography experience a plus)
• Thorough understanding of the creative process
• Works well as part of a team
• Knowledge/interest of current shoe/apparel trends preferred.
