Job summary

Coomer LLC is seeking an Art Director + Designer to translate creative strategy into exceptional visual work across brands and campaigns. You will own look development, build design systems and lead production, collaborating closely with our ECD and Account Team.

You’ll direct external designers and partners, push creative forward, and manage multiple projects from concept to finished work, while maintaining quality and on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional design and art direction experience.
• Portfolio showing typography, composition, visual storytelling and brand thinking across multiple work types.
• Experience developing brands and campaigns from early look development through finished production.
• Experience designing across digital, social, print, presentations, advertising and physical environments.
• Experience working with—and ideally directing—freelance designers, illustrators and photographers.
• Strong command of contemporary design tools and production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop the look, tone and feel of creative work and translate strategy into visual territories.
• Design brand identities, campaigns, social content, digital advertising and presentations.
• Turn strategy into scalable visual systems for multi-channel outputs.
• Own the creative development from exploration through production and final delivery.
• Lead client presentations and articulate design rationale when appropriate.
• Manage outside creative talent and ensure quality and timely delivery.
