Job summary

Lulus Fashion Lounge in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Art Director to oversee the art direction of PDP imagery and video in a fast-paced ecommerce studio.

This onsite role combines hands-on shoots with strategic direction, requiring on-set leadership, image selection, and collaboration with stylists and photographers to deliver on-brand, high-quality visuals.

Strong attention to detail and a deep knowledge of women's fashion are essential to meet ambitious production goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in the creative industry.
• 3+ years of in-studio/on-set experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote/PPT for deck creation.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• On-set shoot experience with direction and editing feedback.
• Strong fashion sense and knowledge of trends.
• Ability to collaborate with stylists and photographers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume setting.
• Portfolio demonstrating art direction in ecommerce or fashion.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in and oversee the art direction on multiple Ecom sets, ensuring project alignment with brand standards.
• Select and crop images for studio shoots using Creative Force.
• Collaborate with the Art Director to implement brand guidelines across channels.
• Participate in pre-shoot production including casting, styling reviews, and training materials.
• Regularly review shoot results and share feedback with studio leadership.
• Work with stylists and photographers to enhance creative visions and production goals.
• Maintain understanding of the Lulus brand and fashion trends.
• Review and improve style guides for product categories.
• Organize image files and deliverables efficiently.
• Coordinate with buyers, merchandisers, and creative leads on creative changes.
