PALS OHIO, LLC. seeks a creative, energetic Art Coordinator who will work with adults with developmental disabilities to foster art, creativity and self-expression on a daily basis. You will assist in leading exceptional services and maintain a supportive, safe and engaging environment.

The role emphasizes supervision, documentation, transportation responsibilities, and compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies. A DOT physical and driving credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass the DOT physical.
• College degree from accredited University or equivalent preferred.
• Ohio Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Acceptable Criminal Background verification.
• Ability to supervise adults with Developmental Disabilities.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support adults with developmental disabilities, including money management, personal hygiene, community integration, skill building, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation including transportation, billing, and program documentation.
• Safely provide Non-Medical Transportation as needed.
• Routinely check van functions and maintain proper maintenance schedule.
• Ensure safety equipment is in good working order.
• Attend weekly staff/house meetings.
• Promote a supportive environment with people-first language and confidentiality.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and Individual Rights.
