PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking an artistic and energetic Art Coordinator for the Mingo Day Program in Mingo Junction, OH.

You will lead creative activities for adults with developmental disabilities, focusing on self-expression and community engagement. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a passion for arts and crafts, a valid Ohio driver\'s license, and the ability to supervise responsibly.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass the DOT physical.
• College degree from accredited University or equivalent.
• Current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable Criminal Background verification.
• Willingness to provide fun yet responsible supervision to adults with Developmental Disabilities.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Maintains current and annual training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support adults with developmental disabilities including, but not limited to, money management, personal hygiene, community integration, skill building and maintaining a safe environment.
• Keep accurate documentation, including transportation, billing, and program documentation.
• Safely provide Non-Medical Transportation as needed.
• Routinely check functions of van and maintain proper maintenance schedule for the vehicle
• Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order
• Contribute to and attend weekly staff/house meetings.
• Promote a supportive environment by modeling the guidelines of company philosophy, confidentiality, people-first language, empowerment, and fair and reasonable treatment of others.
• Maintain confidentiality of HIPAA records and promoting Individual Rights.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
