Patient First in Virginia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic procedures while following safety protocols and internal guidelines. This role requires ARRT registration and state licensure, with a focus on accurate image labeling, equipment handling, and patient safety.

The position offers full-time hours with competitive compensation and benefits. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and supporting center operations.

Formación

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Keyboarding experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• One year of clerical experience preferred
• One year of clinical experience preferred
• ARRT registration required
• Licensed to practice as Radiologic Technologist by the Virginia Board of Health Professions
• Limited Radiologic Technologist license must cover chest/thorax, extremities, skull/sinuses, spine and abdomen/pelvis

Responsabilidades

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure.
• Implement safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure.
• Create and document x-ray CD copies; label images and sleeves correctly.
• Understand x-ray and processing equipment to ensure proper use.
• Use and understand the bell system.
• File and maintain all x-ray paperwork.
• Ensure patient safety when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment.
• Operate and maintain medical and office equipment as trained.
