Job summary

Patient First in Lake Ridge, VA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to obtain quality x-rays, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate imaging records. You will operate x-ray and processing equipment, label copies, and document daily logs while following OSHA guidelines.

The role requires ARRT registration and Virginia radiologic technologist licensure, strong communication, and clerical skills; prior clinical experience is preferred and the center offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Virginia licensure required or preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Keyboarding and clerical experience are expected.
• Clinical experience preferred for continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure.
• Implement safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid exposure.
• Maintain and label x-ray copies per Patient First guidelines.
• Understand and operate x-ray and processing equipment correctly.
• Use and manage the daily log, x-ray listing, and related systems.
• Clean and maintain work area per OSHA guidelines and other maintenance tasks.
