Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Keyboarding and solid verbal/written communication skills.
• ARRT registration and Maryland radiographer license required.
• One year of clerical and clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct positioning and radiation exposure.
• Follow safety procedures to protect patients, self and staff.
• Create and document x-ray CD copies; label images and sleeves accurately.
• Understand x-ray and processing equipment and use correctly.
• Maintain daily logs and patient records using the automated system.
• Ensure patient safety when handling wheelchairs, stools and equipment.
• Complete checklists for x-ray and treatment areas; attend trainings.
• Operate and maintain medical and office equipment as trained.
