Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will greet patients, activate patient files, and support patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times and next steps
• Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize emergent situations
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results promptly
• Assist with patient check-in/out and transfers
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and current medications
• Assist with procedures and lab work under supervision
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper equipment functioning
• Maintain documentation, cleanliness, and adhere to safety and confidentiality policies
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures as trained

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent
• Valid State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
