Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will greet patients, activate files, and support both patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times effectively.
• Provide solutions to patient issues and recognize emergency situations.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results promptly.
• Assist with patient check-in/out, vital signs, history taking, and transfers.
• Assist with procedures and lab work under supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper equipment functioning.
• Maintain documentation, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures appropriate to training level.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License for X-Ray performance.
• BLS Certification.
