Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will greet patients, activate files, and support patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize emergent situations.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results with urgency.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper equipment functioning.
• Document patient visits accurately and maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures appropriate to training level.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent
• Valid State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
