Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a Mammographer to support diagnostic imaging processes at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL. This role involves performing specialized procedures, patient care, and ensuring quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate must hold current ARRT certification, have an advanced certification in Mammography, and extensive experience in radiology. The position is Per Diem with flexible shift hours available.

Qualifications

• Licensure as required by state regulations.
• Current ARRT certification and advanced specialization in Mammography.
• Experience in hospital imaging settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized radiographic imaging procedures.
• Participate in patient care and quality initiatives.
• Assist with complex patient issues.

Skills

Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit

Current ARRT certification

Advanced certification in Mammography

Current experience as a radiology technologist

Strong verbal, written, and communication skills

Current BCLS (AHA) certification

Knowledge of regulatory standards

Ability to travel to imaging facilities

Experience in HIS/RIS
