Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s St. Mary’s Hospital - Kankakee seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures in accordance with HFAP/TJC/local regulations and to act as the first point of contact for imaging needs.

The role requires ARRT-R, state licensure, BCLS, and at least one year of experience; you will contribute to PI/QC activities and ensure timely processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• License and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
