Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist with Mammography experience for PRN Day-Weekend shifts in Hinsdale, IL. You will participate in patient tracking, recalls, imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling per departmental workflows.

You will support breast center initiatives, follow MQSA/ACR protocols, document in EMR/PACS, and ensure high-quality exams for accurate diagnosis. Requires 1+ year experience, BLS CPR, and RT(R)(M) ARRRT certification; associate preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred
• High School Grad or Equiv Required
• 1+ year of experience required
• BLS CPR certification required
• Registered Mammographer RT(R)(M) ARRRT required

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes, assisting with recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling as required by departmental workflows.
• Supports breast center initiatives, such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, or quality improvement activities.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Performs high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
