Job summary

The City of Saint Paul is seeking a Senior Grants Specialist to oversee complex grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with federal funding requirements. You will support grants administration, risk assessment, and the rollout of a new grants management software platform.

Required is a Bachelor's degree with six years in grants administration (two+ in a Grants Specialist role); ARPA/federal funding experience is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with six years of progressively responsible work experience in grants administration or government programs.
• At least two years must be in a Grants Specialist or equivalent role.
• Experience with ARPA or federal grant funding and related compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administration, monitoring, and closeout of ARPA grant funding to meet requirements.
• Assist with risk assessments and identify compliance, financial, contractual, and programmatic risks.
• Assist with implementation and onboarding of a new grants management software platform.
• Administer grant agreements, contracts, and funding documents to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance on grant requirements, eligibility, and reporting.
