Job summary

Alaska Army National Guard is seeking a Maintenance Generalist - Sub Journey 1 to perform statewide maintenance of DMVA and ARNG facilities. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and seasonal grounds tasks across Alaska.

The role requires teamwork, basic plumbing skills, and customer-focused service. Expect winter snow removal, summer landscaping, and equipment maintenance while supporting a mission-driven team at JBER.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide preventive maintenance, repair and replacement of building and mechanical components for DMVA and ARNG facilities.

• Maintain and perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment (oil changes, spark plugs, lubrication).
