Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the Mission Command Training Program at Fort Leavenworth, KS. You will serve as the primary liaison for IT and communications systems, ensuring seamless integration during Warfighter Exercises.

Responsibilities include managing information systems, planning and executing exercises, providing on-site technical support, administering classified and unclassified networks, enforcing DoD IA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of related IT experience.
• DCWF qualifications: Technical Support Specialist (411) and System Administrator (451) at Intermediate tier; Security+ may be required.

Responsibilities

• Information system management: primary point of contact for all information systems and IT requirements.
• Exercise planning and execution: participate in the Exercise Life Cycle (ELC) to determine technical requirements and design C2 support structure.
• Technical support: on-site troubleshooting and support for Army Mission Command Systems and other IT equipment.
• Network and system administration: manage classified (SIPR) and unclassified (NIPR) network environments.
• Cybersecurity and information assurance: enforce DoD/DA IA policies; RMF compliance and patch management.
• Knowledge management: oversee tools for information sharing and CCIR across staff.
• Equipment and asset management: lifecycle management, procurement and deployment of IT hardware and software.
