U.S. Army 2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion is seeking General Surgeons to lead a world-class military health care team.

You will examine, diagnose, consult, and perform surgeries for Soldiers, retirees, and their families while advancing surgical innovations and participating in ongoing education and collaborative trainings. Active Duty or Army Reserve service offers comprehensive benefits, including education loan repayment, a blended retirement system, travel opportunities, and access to

Competenze

• Must have MD or DO from an accredited US medical school.
• Foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates.
• Must have a current license to practice medicine in the United States
• Must be eligible for board certification
• Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
• Must have completed a training program in general surgery
• Must be a US citizen to serve on Active Duty
• Must have a permanent US residency for Army Reserve

• Examine, diagnose, consult, and prescribe courses of treatment.
• Perform surgeries for Soldiers, retirees and their family members.
• Participate in continued education programs, trainings, seminars and conferences to learn, grow and collaborate with fellow general surgeons.
