As an Army General Surgeon, you will diagnose, treat, and perform surgeries for Soldiers and their families, while advancing your skills through trainings, seminars, and conferences within the Army Medical Department.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO from an accredited US school.
• Must have a current license to practice medicine in the United States or equivalent.
• Must be eligible for board certification in general surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical care for Soldiers, retirees and family members.
• Examine, diagnose, consult, and prescribe courses of treatment.
• Perform surgeries and participate in continued education and training.
