Qualificações

• MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Permanent medical license in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.
• Board eligible or certified in General Surgery.
• Completed at least one year of an approved GME internship.
• Completed a General Surgery residency program.
• U.S. citizen to serve on Active Duty.
• Permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.
• Foreign medical graduates may apply with a permanent ECFMG certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Examine, diagnose, consult, and prescribe treatment for Soldiers, retirees and their families.
• Perform surgeries and participate in continued education, trainings and conferences to learn and collaborate with fellow general surgeons.

Formação académica

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

Permanent medical license in US/DC/PR

Board certification/eligibility in General Surgery

ACGME-accredited General Surgery internship

General Surgery residency completed

U.S. citizenship for Active Duty

Permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve

ECFMG certificate for foreign medical graduates
