As a General Surgeon on the U.S. Army health care team, you'll be at the front line of medical and surgical innovations and a wide range of procedures. You will examine, diagnose, consult, and prescribe courses of treatment, and perform

Qualifications

• MD or DO from a US-accredited medical school.
• Current license to practice in the United States, DC or Puerto Rico.
• Must be eligible for board certification.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have completed at least one year of ACGME-accredited GME internship.
• Must have completed a general surgery training program.

Responsabilités

• Examine, diagnose, consult, and prescribe treatments for patients.
• Perform surgeries for Soldiers, retirees and their family members.
• Participate in continued education, trainings, seminars, and conferences to learn and collaborate.
• Engage in leadership and teaching within the medical team and residency programs.
