Job summary

SMX is hiring Business Process Analysts to serve as the domain and functional authority for complex Army financial, transactional, and administrative processes.

You will guide the extraction of legacy business logic from historical reporting tools and systems, transforming them into configurable modern workflows while ensuring strict adherence to statutory accounting validations, posting rules, and comprehensive audit logs.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
• 5+ years of experience in business process implementation and solutioning.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP functional design.
• Experience with Army Business Processes.
• Experience in GFEBS solution design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy databases and document complex transactional workflows into platform-independent requirements.
• Identify regulatory constraints and operational impacts of migrating legacy capabilities from mature environments.
• Map legacy structures and master data configurations to modern configurations.
• Define validation rules for transactions, reclassifications, and funds distribution.
• Facilitate workshops and lead UAT while transitioning support to sustainment teams.
