Job summary

SMX is seeking a Business Process Analyst to serve as the domain authority for Army financial, transactional, and administrative processes. You will guide extraction of legacy logic from historical tools into configurable modern workflows while ensuring strict accounting validations, posting rules, and audit logs.

Your expertise will mitigate transition risks during capability migrations. Essential duties include analyzing legacy applications, mapping data and structures, defining validation

Qualifications

• Active US Secret Clearance (or higher) required.
• 5+ years in business process implementation and solutioning.
• 5+ years experience with SAP functional design.
• Experience with Army Business Processes.
• Experience in GFEBS solution design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy databases and document complex transactional workflows to translate into platform-independent requirements.
• Identify regulatory constraints and operational impacts of migrating legacy capabilities out of mature environments.
• Map legacy structures and master data configurations to modern workflows.
• Define validation rules for transactions, reclassifications, and funds distribution.
• Lead workshops with process owners, perform UAT, and transition support to sustainment teams.
