Job summary

SMX is seeking a Business Process Analyst in the United States to serve as domain authority for Army financial and admin processes. You will extract legacy logic from historic systems and transform it into configurable modern workflows while enforcing strict accounting validations and audit logs.

You will guide risk mitigation during capability migrations, facilitate workshops with process owners, and ensure seamless transition of support to sustainment teams within a government-focused

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher) required.
• 5+ years of experience in business process implementation and solutioning.
• 5+ years of SAP functional design experience.
• Experience with Army Business Processes.
• Experience in GFEBS solution design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy databases and document complex workflows into platform-independent requirements.
• Identify process pitfalls, regulatory constraints, and impacts of migrating legacy capabilities.
• Map legacy structures and master data across multiple systems.
• Define validation rules for transactions, reclassifications, and funds distribution.
• Lead workshops, coordinate UAT, and transition support to sustainment teams.
