Job summary

SAIC seeks an Army Recon Attack Aviation & Maneuver Support Planner to join our team supporting USARCENT at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. The role includes aviation mission planning, SME analysis, and coordination with Army and joint planners, with travel to austere locations.

The candidate will develop CONOPs, briefings, and documentation for Government review, leveraging extensive Army aviation experience and PME. On-site work with 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10 years' experience, or 14 with substitution.
• Active Secret clearance required with US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual design, coordination, and analytical support for Army Aviation missions.
• Provide SME analysis and recommendations to Government decision-makers.
• Coordinate with Warfighting Functions and liaisons within USARCENT, CFLCC, and joint/coalition planners.
• Draft draft Concepts of Operation (CONOPs) for specific aviation missions.
• Analyze operational environment to identify opportunities and risks for Government consideration.
• Provide SME input on employment of Army Aviation platforms.
• Develop draft briefings, reports, and documentation for Government review.
