Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Mission Planner at Joint Base Andrews to provide planning coordination for worldwide missions. The role requires onsite work with some remote capability and coordination with US government and foreign officials to secure diplomatic clearances.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of mission planning experience, FAA dispatch certification, and the ability to manage international aviation requirements using GDSS, MRAD, and APACS data.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in mission planning coordination for high-level missions.
• FAA Flight Dispatch Certification or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience coordinating international diplomatic clearances and flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mission Planning Coordination Services for worldwide missions.
• Brief aircrew during planning, provide departure briefing and flight following.
• Determine aircraft suitability and performance for USAF aircraft and review airfield data.
• Assist in diplomatic clearances, APACS coordination, and security arrangements.
• Coordinate Host Nation visa and clearance requirements with embassies and authorities.
• Use MRAD to obtain mission numbers and close out mission information.
