Job summary

SAIC is seeking three Operations Planner and Integrators to support USARCENT at Shaw AFB, SC. The role requires coordinating cross-staff planning, MDMP/JPP participation, and producing OPORDs and CONOPs for Army forces. Some overseas travel may be required.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with 10 years’ experience (4 years may substitute); JPME I/II preferred and active TS/SCI clearance is required. On-site at Shaw AFB with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years’ experience; 4 years can substitute for degree.
• Graduation from Captains Career Course and ILE/CGSC, or Advanced Leader Course (ALC) & Senior Leader Course (SLC).
• Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Level I/II strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-staff and unit planning on 24-hour to 3-month horizon to align with commander's intent and turn into orders.
• Lead and contribute to MDMP and JPP.
• Integrate and pass down strategic posture planning and order development.
• Produce OPORDs, FRAGORDs, TASKORDs, Information Papers, Briefings, Talking Points, EXSUMs, and CONOPs.
• Participate in Operations planning to develop OPORDs and CONOPs.
• Support 24/7/365 operations to synchronize information data.

Description SAIC is seeking three (3) Operations Planner and Integrators to join our team supporting United States Army Central (USARCENT) at Shaw AFB in South Carolina.

This position may have some limited Overseas travel to Austere locations.

NOTE This immediate need is ongoing to support

CENTCOM AOR with a six (6) month period of performance (add on support expected)

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates and synchronize cross-staff and unit planning efforts on a 24-hour to 3-month horizon to ensure the Commander's intent, guidance, and "top items" are rapidly planned and integrated with staff and units and then turned into daily actionable orders.
• Lead and contribute to the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and Joint Planning Process (JPP).
• Integrate and pass down strategic and posture planning integration and order development.
• Produce OPORDs, FRAGORDs, TASKORDs, Information Papers, Information and Decision Briefings, Talking Points, EXSUMs, and CONOPs for the employment of Army forces and capabilities.
• Participate and collaborate in Operations planning to develop OPORDs and CONOPs.
• Prepared to support 24/7/365 coverage for ongoing operations to assist in processing, synchronizing, and integrating information data.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• Graduation from Captains Career Course and Intermediate Level Education (ILE/CGSC), or Advanced Leader Course (ALC) & Senior Leader Course (SLC).
• Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Level I/II strongly preferred.

Required Clearance

• Must possess an active TS/SCI (US Citizenship required).

Required Skills

• Must possess the ability to operate independently, executing the commander’s intent with limited oversight.
• Candidate will also have served at an operational level headquarters and have a working understanding of Army Operations.
