Job summary

Seminole County Sheriff's Office is seeking a part-time Armory Coordinator to manage and control the armory, issue firearms, and coordinate with the Academy and Field Training programs.

Requires an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) and at least 2 years of weapons/armory experience. Must pass a notarized Background Investigation Waiver and possess a valid Florida Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of armory operations and safety practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual inventory of all weapons (except Taser).
• Issue firearms to new members and assist Academy staff.
• Coordinate weapon issuance with Field Training and Academy staff.
• Enter/update entries in TYLER Inventory System.
• Maintain armory records and order supplies.
