Job summary

UIC Arctic Response Services, LLC seeks an Armory Technician to oversee the maintenance and issuance of weapons at Naval Base Kitsap. The candidate will ensure high-level administration of Arms and Ammunition, manage inventories, and support training operations.

The role requires 1-3 years of experience in a military or law enforcement environment and a background in firearm maintenance. The position offers a hands-on chance to work in armory settings with compliance to strict regulations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in military armory or law enforcement ordnance setting.
• Practical experience following A&E regulations.
• Enrollment in the Personnel Reliability Program.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily readiness and accountability of A&E assets.
• Authorize breakout of A&E for security personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance on small arms and crew-served weapons.

Skills

Hands-on experience with firearms

Ability to communicate effectively

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Graduation from Armorer Course or Small Arms Maintenance school
