Job summary

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is seeking a part-time Armory Coordinator to manage weapons inventory, issue firearms, and maintain records. The role requires independent work, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with TYLER and Microsoft Office.

Applicants must complete a notarized Background Investigation Waiver and meet the listed qualifications including a Florida Driver's License. Regular attendance and some overtime are possible.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in weapons/armory maintenance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Florida Driver's License required.
• Internal applicants must complete probation period.
• Knowledge of armory operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual inventory of all weapons (except Tasers).
• Issue firearms to new members and assist training.
• Maintain armory records and order supplies.
• Enter/update entries in TYLER Inventory System.
• Coordinate with Range Master on ammunition inventory.
